Abstract

Pursuant to Executive Order 13873 of May 15, 2019, “Securing the Information and Communications Technology and Services Supply Chain,” (Executive Order) the Department of Commerce (the Department) is implementing the process and procedures that the Secretary of Commerce (Secretary) will use to identify, assess, and address transactions that pose an undue risk to the security, integrity, and reliability of information and communications technology and services provided and used in the United States. In addition, the Department is providing an initial, non-exhaustive list of countries it has determined to be foreign adversaries for the purposes of the Executive Order.
