My name is J. David Grossman and I serve as Vice President, Regulatory Affairs for the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). I am writing to request the opportunity to provide oral testimony at the Commission's May 4, 2023 informal hearing on impersonation fraud. Impersonation fraud is a serious challenge, harming consumers and the reputations of CTA members whose brands are exploited. CTA itself is a victim of impersonation fraud as bad actors look to fraudulently pose as CTA representatives and vendors of CES, CTA's flagship technology showcase. Thank you for your consideration.
