We the undersigned ask the Trump Administration and the Council on Environmental Quality to abandon its reckless and irresponsible proposal to change the implementation of one of our bedrock environmental laws, the National Environmental Policy Act. For 50 years, NEPA has helped to guide federal projects, like highways and federal land management, in a way that recognizes the importance of a healthy environment to our well-being and our economy. The following 11,405 members and supporters of Defenders of Wildlife in the U.S. and its territories. This petition was also signed by 335 residents of other countries and 35 Anonymous Friends of Defenders.
