I fully and wholly support the restoration of gray wolves in Colorado. Gray wolves are a keystone species, reintroducing gray wolves will help restore a natural balance to our wild places in Colorado. Allowing wolves to utilize habitat across Colorado's Rocky Mountains is vital to the long-term success of the species. Lethal management of wolves should be a last-resort measure and strictly limited to chronic conflict situations. When assessing whether the FWS should remove wolves the agency should require evidence of wounded or killed livestock or other domestic animals that clarifies injury or death was caused by wolves. Lethal management of wolves should be explicitly prohibited in my view. Thank you for your time Today.
