The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) appreciates the opportunity to submit the attached comments to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in response to the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Revising the Beryllium Standard for General Industry, 83 Fed. Reg. 73,746 (Dec. 11, 2018) (NPRM). EEI and its members are committed to maintaining worker health and safety, and support the proposed changes to the Beryllium Standard in the NPRM as appropriate measures to further this goal. EEI encourages OSHA to finalize the proposed changes as noticed in the proposal.
