Abstract

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is providing notice that the Agency has received a complete Underground Injection Control (UIC) program revision package from the State of Wyoming, requesting approval of a revision to the State’s Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) section 1422 UIC program to include Class VI injection well primary implementation and enforcement authority (primacy), and proposes to issue a final rule approving the application. The State of Wyoming’s UIC program revision package includes a description of the State UIC Program, copies of all applicable rules and forms, a statement of legal authority, a summary of public participation activities, and a Memorandum of Agreement between the State of Wyoming and the Region 8 office of the Environmental Protection Agency.
