Abstract
EPA Announces Public Meetings and Public Comment Period Regarding a Proposed Variance for Denver Water to Meet the Requirements for Lead under the Safe Drinking Water Act. To submit a written comment, click on the “browse documents” tab in this docket, and click on the “comment” button (see “how to comment” section below). PLEASE ONLY PROVIDE COMMENTS ON DOCUMENTS WITH A POSTED DATE OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2022. The other documents provide a historical perspective of the previous variance. You can also share comments by attending one of two virtual public meetings which will occur on October 5, 2022, from 4 to 6 p.m. and October 6, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m. Advanced registration is recommended for all participants, especially those wanting to speak as you will be given priority. Others can indicate an interest to speak during the meeting, time-permitting. Advanced registration closes at 11:59 p.m. Oct. 4, 2022.
