Abstract
EPA is holding a public meeting to seek individual input of the draft scope of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) New Chemicals Collaborative Research Program. In addition, EPA is announcing the availability of and soliciting public comment on the draft Strengthening the Science and Process to Evaluate New Chemicals Under TSCA; TSCA New Chemicals Collaborative Research Program: Problem Statement, Vision and Action Plan for Public Comment document. The draft document describes an OCSPP proposal to develop and implement a multi-year collaborative research program to modernize the information used in performing risk assessments for new chemical substances under TSCA.
