In EAA's earlier comments to this docket (FAA-2010-1326-0217) we stressed that the marking of towers SHOULD NOT LIMITED solely to MET towers. To provide further support of this position, we just learend that the FCC is in the final stages of authorizing industry to deploy a system designed to meet President Obama's initiative to bring terrestrial-based broadband network avaiability to 260 million people by 2015. One of the cornerstones of this project is the use of high power transmitters on 40,000 new and/or existing antenna sites across the U.S. Adding up to 40,000 new antenna's, of varying height's, as new obstacles within the NAS will create an even greater flight safety issue than MET towers. Therefore, EAA is refirming our position that all towers must be evaluated based on their real life or potentail as a flight hazard. Randy Hansen EAA Government Relations Director
