The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) values the opportunity to provide review and comment in support of the FAA proposed Special Class Airworthiness Criteria for the Archer Aviation, Inc. Model M001 Powered Lift (docket FAA-2022-1548). GAMA represents over 150 of the world's leading general aviation airplane and rotorcraft manufacturers, operators, service providers, repair facilities, and fixed-based operators. GAMA's membership includes developers and manufacturers of powered-lift category electric vertical takeoff and lift (eVTOL) aircraft as well as traditionally powered and emerging VTOL. GAMA's comments on behalf of our broad global membership are attached.
