The attached letter—signed by a set of stakeholders—seeks a 30-day extension to the current deadline to provide sufficient time to review the FAA's proposal, including in context of Sec. 803 of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024 and other statutory and regulatory requirements.

Abstract

Seeking Input on the impacts if the FAA removed certain aircraft information from public dissemination, including FAA websites. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking comment on the impacts of removing certain aircraft registration data from public display on the FAA website, including through current search functions and published reports. The removal of this data is to satisfy the requirement in section 803 of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024.
