The National Agricultural Aviation Association (NAAA) is pleased to submit the following comments to the EPA and the Army Corp of Engineers on the two agencies' proposal to alter the definition of a 'Water of the U.S.' under the Clean Water Act (Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OW-2011-0880). These comments supercede ones submitted by the NAAA three days ago.

The National Agricultural Aviation Association is pleased to submit the attached file outlining our association's members' thoughts and concerns with the proposed "Waters of the United States" redefinition under the Clean Water Act.

Abstract

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are publishing for public comment a proposed rule defining the scope of waters protected under the Clean Water Act (CWA), in light of the U.S. Supreme Court cases in U.S. v. Riverside Bayview, Rapanos v. United States, and Solid Waste Agency v. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (SWANCC).
