Please see the attached comments of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores in response to the Food and Drug Administration's Request for Comments regarding a potential modification to the opioid REMS where the agency would require that certain immediate-release (IR) opioid products commonly prescribed for acute pain be made available in fixed-quantity unit-of-use blister packaging. We thank FDA considering our views on this important matter.
