Abstract
EPA is considering revising the effluent limitations guidelines, pretreatment standards and new source performance standards applicable to the Organic Chemicals, Plastics and Synthetic Fibers (OCPSF) point source category to address discharges from manufacturers and formulators of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). This docket includes an index of public information and data regarding PFAS manufacturers and formulators that the EPA has already collected and is collecting through the ANPRM. EPA is requesting public comment on this index and is soliciting additional information and data regarding discharges of PFAS from these facilities to inform potential future revisions to the wastewater discharge standards that apply to this point source category
