The National Association of Manufacturers strongly recommends that the Interim Rule Related to Agricultural Inspection and AQI User Fees Along the U.S./Canada Border be withdrawn until there is further study on the rule's need and impact and possible alternatives to achieving its goals that are less trade restrictive and more compatible with the President's Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) initiative. The attached letter provides a more detailed analysis of NAM concerns.
