The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), the largest manufacturing association in the United States representing manufacturers in every industrial sector and in all 50 states, submits the attached comments in response to the advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPRM) by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requesting input on "State Guidelines for Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Existing Electric Utility Generating Units," Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OAR-2017-0545.

Abstract

Emission guidelines, established under Clean Air Act section 111(d), to limit emissions of greenhouse gas (as CO2) from existing fossil fuel-fired EGUs.
