The following comments on the proposed Revised National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit (?NPDES?) Regulation and Effluent Limitation Guidelines (?ELG?) for Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (?CAFOs?) in Response to the Waterkeeper Decision (referred to below as the proposed rule), 71 Fed. Reg. 37,744-787 (June 30, 2006), are being submitted by the National Pork Producers Council (?NPPC?), the United Egg Producers (?UEP?), the American Farm Bureau Federation (?AFBF?), the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives (?NCFC?), and the National Corn Growers Association (?NCGA?).
