Abstract
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is proposing to remove from the Code of Federal Regulations its Construction Illumination Standards (29 CFR 1926.26; 1926.56) (Docket No.). The standards do not substantially reduce a significant risk to workers. This is a deregulatory action per Executive Order 14192, “Unleashing Prosperity Through Deregulation” (90 FR 9065, Feb. 6, 2025).
