The National School Transportation Association supports the proposal to extend the disqualificaiton standards for serious violations committed in a commercial vehicle to serious violations committed in a noncommercial vehicle, but objects to the inclusion of all the railroad-highway grade crossing offenses as serious violations in a non-cmv. NSTA proposes instead that CDL drivers be disqualified for violating any grade-crossing law applicable to the vehicles they are driving.
