Dear Ms. Jabob: On behalf of The Humane Society of the United States (The HSUS), Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and Predator Defense, we respectfully submit the attached comments regarding the registration reviews for M-44 sodium cyanide capsules and sodium fluoroacetate (Compound 1080). We strongly encourage the agency not to renew the registration for sodium cyanide capsules and Compound 1080 for predator control because these chemicals have unreasonable adverse effects on the environment and these risks far outweigh any benefits associated with their use.
