The Southern Environmental Law Center submits the attached comments on behalf of a broad coalition of more than 40 organizations working to protect the natural resources of the South regarding revisions proposed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service to the Endangered Species Act implementing regulations. As explained in the comments, while we appreciate the Services are taking steps to rescind some of the harmful 2019 regulatory revisions implemented under the Trump administration, key additional revisions must be made to restore the historic regulations and ensure conservation of the South's imperiled biodiversity. Because our comments address regulatory revisions proposed under three separate dockets, we are submitting the same letter and attachments to each docket.
