See attached file(s) On behalf of the Surfrider Foundation, the FTC's Green Guides will continue to play a pivotal role in safeguarding consumers from greenwashing and supporting the transition away from harmful and toxic single-use plastics towards a comprehensive refill and reuse system. Surfrider Foundation is extremely concerned about the growing environmental and public health impacts associated with plastic production and pollution. And consumers are also increasingly aware and worried about the widespread public health and environmental impacts associated with plastic waste. The clarity in product labeling and standardization of definitions will help prevent misleading claims and consumer confusion, thereby allowing for a more effective reduction of plastic waste and management of resources. Thank you for your consideration of these comments.
