Please find attached the Telecommunications Industry Association's (TIA) input to the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) notice of availability and request for comments on its study on the use of cell phones on board aircraft. We support the FAA's completion of the Congressionally-required study on the impact of the use of cell phones for voice communications in an aircraft during a flight in scheduled passenger air transportation, and submit this brief comment to endorse the technical conclusions reached. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
