Dear Ms. Christensen and Ms. Jensen: The U.S. Chamber of Commerce requests that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Army Corps of Engineers grant at least a 60-day extension of the period for receiving written recommendations about your plans to consider revising the rule "The Navigable Waters Protection Rule: Definition of "Waters of the United States" (the "NWPR") . Please feel free to contact me should you have questions or if you wish to discuss. Thanks in advance, Chuck Chaitovitz

Abstract

In accordance with a Presidential directive, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of the Army (Army) are reconsidering and replacing the Navigable Waters Protection Rule defining the term “waters of the United States.” This docket will be associated with a non-regulatory preproposal notice announcing a series of public listening sessions and soliciting written feedback from the public.
