We, the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), propose to designate critical habitat for the Rice's whale (Balaenoptera ricei), which we listed as endangered under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (ESA), on April 15, 2019. One specific area is proposed for designation.
