No Public Hearing on September 10 “A request for public comments and a notice of a hearing related to the annual review of the eligibility of the sub-Saharan African countries to receive the benefits of the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) was published in the Federal Register on Friday, August 14, 2015 (80 FR 48951). The notice announced that a public hearing was scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. at 1724 F Street, NW, Washington, DC 20508 and established the procedures for requests to testify. The deadline for submitting a notification of intent to testify and/or written comments expired at 5:00pm on Thursday, September 3, 2015. Written comments were received and have been posted on regulations.gov at docket USTR-2015-0011. No requests to testify were made. Therefore, there will be no public hearing on Thursday September 10, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.”
