Abstract

Acrylamide is a monomer used primarily in the production of polyacrylamide polymers. Polyacrylamides are used as a flocculent in water purification, oil recovery, and soil stabilization; and in the manufacturing of a wide range of products as a coating, matrix, additive, or stabilizer.
