Dear Division of Dockets Management: The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) is responding to the October 30, 2014 Federal Register Notice regarding Docket No. FDA-2014-N-1497, Toxicological Principles for the Safety Assessment of Food Ingredients; Public Meeting on Updates and Safety and Risk Assessment Considerations; Request for Comments, also known as the Redbook. As the voice of the U.S. frozen food industry, AFFI is the national trade association that represents the interests of all segments of the frozen food industry. AFFI members manufacture and distribute frozen foods throughout the United States and globally. Our members share a commitment to providing safe and nutritious foods to consumers.
