The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) is submitting the attached comments in response to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) proposed effluent limitation guidelines and standards (ELGs) for the steam electric power generating point source category (proposed rule). EPA published the proposed rule at 78 Fed. Reg. 34431 on June 7, 2013, and published a notice extending the comment deadline to today at 78 Fed. Reg. 41907 on July 12, 2013.
